KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 13): Kumpulan Kitacon Bhd has clinched a deal to construct 182 terrace
houses in the vibrant Selangor Cyber Valley, with a contract value of RM65.43 million.
In a Tuesday filing to the stock exchange, Kumpulan Kitacon revealed that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kitacon Sdn Bhd, was awarded the project by Worldwide Holdings Bhd.
The scope of work includes the primary construction of 182 units of two-storey terrace houses and a Tenaga Nasional Bhd substation, totalling RM65.43 million.
“The project is set to kick off on Feb 19, 2024, with completion slated within 18 months from the commencement date,” stated Kumpulan Kitacon.
The company anticipates a positive impact on its earnings for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2024 (FY2024) and beyond until the fulfilment of the contract.
