NCT Group Unveils Revived Genting Valley White Knight Development Project

Property developer conglomerate NCT Group has officially launched the revived 17-year-long abandoned Genting Valley project located in Batang Kali, Selangor through its subsidiary, NCT Platinum Sdn Bhd. Now known as Ion Belian Garden, the white knight development project with a gross development value of RM570 million previously comprised of 665 bungalow plots over five phases. This revival gives more than 200 homeowners a second chance at it.


This marks the group’s third large-scale revival project, as it was entrusted with the rehabilitation of the development based on its track record of working on previous revival projects including the largest abandoned housing development project in Malaysia at Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi and the Genting Highlands Billion Court, said to be the largest abandoned project based in Pahang.


The first phase of Ion Belian Garden will consist of five precincts that will consist of 149 units of single-storey terrace house, 1,009 units of two-storey terrace houses and nine units of two storey shop offices.


Set to be completed in 2025, the Ion Belia Garden project saw all of its 149 Rumah Selangorku units sold out within five minutes of the launch.
