TJ Chan to head marketing efforts with Easybook.

Easybook.com has appointed TJ Chan as its new Marketing Director. In this pivotal role, Chan will spearhead the development and execution of dynamic marketing strategies to propel the company's growth and success.


His responsibilities encompass promoting Easybook.com's products and services effectively, elevating its brand identity, and establishing a robust market presence. With a keen focus on achieving targeted sales volumes and ensuring profitability, Chan is poised to drive the company towards greater heights.


Spanning across Southeast Asia, Chan's jurisdiction covers key markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Philippines, Laos, and Brunei. This newly established position will see Chan directly reporting to the founder and Group Managing Director, William Lee.


Commenting on his appointment, Chan expressed his vision for Easybook.com, aiming to facilitate safer and more convenient travel experiences across ASEAN. He envisions the company becoming the foremost locally founded platform for land and sea transport services.


Prior to joining Easybook.com, Chan served as Senior Assistant Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Astro for over three years. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in driving business growth, crafting marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and foster profitability. His expertise also extends to developing Astro's B2B portfolio for CE & Hotels post-pandemic, contributing significantly to sales and acquisitions.


Before his tenure at Astro, Chan held the position of Head of Brand and Marketing Communications at Malaysia Airlines, where he orchestrated comprehensive marketing plans for global markets such as the UK, ANZ, China, India, and ASEAN countries. His diverse experience also includes serving as Business Head at Havas Worldwide Kuala Lumpur from 2016 to 2017.


In a related development, Madina Kalyayeva has been appointed as the new Partner and Managing Director of Tilt Agency. Following the agency's acquisition by HM Too and Agile Media in October 2021, Kalyayeva's appointment underscores Tilt's continued growth trajectory.


Reporting to CEO Stuart Helmore, Kalyayeva will be tasked with shaping the agency's strategic direction, enhancing client service standards, nurturing employee experiences, and fostering a vibrant organizational culture. Her leadership will also drive multiple planned expansions, cementing Tilt's position as a premier agency serving regional and global clients.
