Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd will be welcoming Praba Sangarajoo to the esteemed role of being the company's Chief Executive Officer effective 1 April 2023, where he will be responsible for continuing the growth trajectory of the Group’s businesses as we navigate an increasingly competitive landscape in the fintech industry.
Moving up from his position as Deputy CEO of Business & Growth at Touch ‘n Go, Praba joined Touch ‘n Go in June 2021 and is responsible for revenue growth, new business, product innovation as well as the management of government and stakeholder relationships.
In less than two years, he has spearheaded the launch of new products and introduced new revenue streams, including RFID for expressway toll payments and fueling, the enhanced Touch ‘n Go NFC card for improved customer conveniences, and the acquisition of an unprecedented number of new parking sites in 2022.
Prior to joining Touch ‘n Go, Praba was Chief Executive Officer of Xperanti IoT (M) Sdn Bhd. Before that, he was Chief Operating Officer (Rail) at Sapura Secured Technologies. He has also served in management capacities in large multinational companies such as Nokia Siemens Networks, and Fujitsu. He has a Bachelor in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Northumbria.
